Annual Sunshine List announced

The long awaited Sunshine List has been released for public sector employees that make over $100,000 a year or more in accordance with Ontario’s Public Sector Disclosure Act.
Grand River Hospital’s top wage earner is President and CEO Malcolm Maxwell. He made over $413,000 in 2013. That’s a slight drop from 2012 when he made $419,000.
Cambridge Memorial Hospital’s President and CEO, Patrick Gaskin brought in $315, 172.42 last year.
As for the region’s post-secondary education institutions, University of Waterloo’s President Feridun Hamdullahpur made $399,999.96 in 2013, while Wilfrid Laurier President and Vice-Chancelor Max Blouw pulled in $364,924.58.
John Tibbits, President of Conestoga College, earned $409,900. with taxable benefits of $1,481.22.
Region of Waterloo Police Chief, Matthew Torigian earned a grand total of $247,395.07, while Kitchener Fire Chief Timothy Beckett made $154,532.68.
