The province is promising all day, 2-way go train service between Kitchener and Toronto.
This major announcement was revealed yesterday while Premier Kathleen Wynne was in town, but she says it depends on the budget if this plan will go through or not.
Passengers at the Kitchener GO station are excited– but they have many questions.
The 4 new trains are promised to be added by 2016: two in the morning, two in the evening.
But the cost is unknown. Everything depends on the provincial budget – which no one knows yet when it will be released.
If the budget is defeated, and an election is called, Premier Kathleen Wynne says this will be in her campaign.
Wynne says it will create 33, 000 net jobs, and add 1, 000 passengers on the GO.
There is also a possible express train, cutting up to 30 minutes off your trip to Downtown Toronto.
