Five hurt in head-on crash in Guelph

A head-on crash in Guelph has sent five people to hospital.

Guelph Police say it happened mid-afternoon Monday on Wellington Street West near Fife Road.

Police say the crash involved a car and a van and the driver of the car was taken to a hospital in Hamilton with serious facial injuries.

Police say four people in the van, including two children, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
