Fergus male arrested after mailboxes forced open in Wellington County

Wellington OPP say they’ve arrested a man from Fergus after a string of mailboxes were forced open.

Police say the incidents happened in the Centre of Wellington Township and the Guelph Eramosa Township between February 14th and February 21st.

OPP also say that a number of mail has been recovered as a result of the investigation. OPP are working to contact the rightful owners of the mail and are asking people to be patient.

At this point it’s not clear if charges have been laid.
