11:00am- Steafán Hanvey, Irish Musician, Re: Northern Irish singer-songwriter Hanvey plays at the University of Waterloo tonight. Growing up in an artistic household Steafán’s exposure to all kinds of music began in utero. Citing influences from Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Soundgarden, Simon & Garfunkel to Irish folk, perhaps the most important of all was the home itself, where the young Steafán was often called upon to sing tune or two. Hanvey has created a multi-dimensional project and will arrive in Waterloo to stage photos and song at Waterloo University.
11:30am- Stephen Brunt, Author, Broadcaster and Columnist for Sportsnet Magazine, Re: Grapefruit League action has started and Brunt is in Dunedin, Florida watching the Blue Jays.
