Special Weather Statement for Waterloo Region

Waterloo Region is under a special weather statement from Environment Canada, warning of snowfall and strong winds.

A disturbance is moving into Southwestern Ontario later this afternoon, and will march into the Golden Horseshoe tonight.

The region can expect up to 10 cm of snow, and strong gusty winds that will blow the snow around.

Drivers should allow extra time due to accumulating snow and reduced visibility.
