The 11th Annual Winterloo Family Festival is here!
Families can head down to uptown Waterloo for plenty of events including an ice carving competition, dog sled races and a chili cook off.
Winterloo Festival Chair Tracy Weiler tells 570 News this is a way people can finally enjoy winter and forget about all the snow and cold.
“We’re suggesting that people take a reprieve from the cold weather and come down and join us…we’ve got tons of family fun both indoor and outdoor for everyone.”
Weiler says in the past over 5,000 families have attended this event and they expect more this year.
The Festival runs on February 15th, 16th and 17th, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., in UpTown Waterloo.
