10:00am- Bruce Lauckner, CEO of the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network, Re: Eight local doctors are fighting a government plan to move colonoscopies, a regular diagnostic procedure, out of local hospitals and into outside clinics. The Ministry of Health says patients will get faster, cheaper care if hospitals provide fewer procedures.
10:30am- Richard Kuypers, Tournament Director of the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, Re: Is it possible the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic may be moving on from Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo Region? The Record reports that Morrow has told regional councillors at a recent meeting that Manulife Financial has requested new venues be investigated.
