Rangers try for first win vs. Storm

It’s round six of the battle of Highway 7 tonight at the Aud.
The Kitchener Rangers will look to stay in the win column with the Guelph Storm in town, but it won’t be easy. Guelph has won all five previous meetings against Kitchener this season, outscoring the Rangers 27-7.
The Rangers are coming off a dramatic 5-4 shootout win against the Niagara Ice Dogs last Saturday, a game which saw 14 shooters in total in the shootout. The two points were negated however by Plymouth’s come from behind win against the Belleville Bulls the same night. The Rangers remain five points back off the last playoff spot in the Western Conference, with a game in hand on the Whalers.
The Storm meanwhile are coming off a loss in Windsor against the Spitfires last Saturday.
