12:00pm- Alex Mustakas, Artistic Director for Drayton Entertainment, Re: After months of rampant public speculation, Drayton Entertainment has announced today their “mystery show” will be “Les Misérables”, their flagship production for the 2014 Season. The coup is the result of Mustakas trying for years to secure the rights to one of the biggest and most successful productions in Broadway history. The epic musical will take centre stage at the Dunfield Theatre Cambridge June 11th to August 2nd, and the Huron Country Playhouse in Grand Bend August 7th to August 30th. One of the most celebrated musicals of our time, Les Misérables is the longest running musical in the word.
12:15pm- Brenden Sherratt, KW Musical Productions, Re: The Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Productions has announced they’re bringing “The Full Monty” to the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse later this month. KWMP have rented the theatre from February 13 until February 22 for the musical adaptation of the smash hit British film.
12:30pm- Dr. Sue Johanson, Sex Educator, Writer, Public speaker, Registered nurse, Re: North America’s most famous sex educator comes to town this Thursday night to THEMUSEUM, taking part in “Sue Johanson: A Night of Questions and Answers”. As part of the new Science of Sexuality exhibit, Johanson will answer questions anonymously.
