The cold metal of the stethoscope, could soon be a thing of the past.

Researchers from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York suggest handheld ultrasound devices will one day replace one of the most recognized tools of the medical profession.

Experts say they’re more accurate than the stethoscope, but are a lot more expensive
