Loonie trading at four year low

The recently-slumping dollar appears to have stabilized, at least for the moment.
After gaining three-100ths of-a-cent yesterday, the loonie is up another five-100th’s of-a-cent this morning.
It’s trading overseas at 91.42 cents U-S.
Still, the loonie is down more than 2.5-cents since the start of last week.
The World Bank reports that our dollar is slipping because of the U-S and global recovery.
One union economist predicts the dollar will be driven down to the mid-80 cent level this year, which is good for exports and jobs, but bad for tourists and shoppers.
