Arrest after snakes stolen from Kitchener pet store

A Cambridge man is facing several charges after snakes were stolen from a Kitchener pet store.

Police say the snakes, valued at close to $1,000, were stolen on Friday and a 33 year old man was arrested yesterday.

Two of the snakes have also been recovered. Police say one of them was injured.

The suspect is facing various charges including trafficking stolen goods and unnecessary suffering to an animal.
