A reminder from the OPP to keep vehicles safe and free from snow and ice while travelling on Provincial Highways.
After the recent snow and freezing rain that has fallen over the past week, the OPP have been responding to calls of vehicles that have been damaged due to pieces of ice and snow that have come away from other vehicles.
This often occurs as a result of vehicles that have not been properly cleared of snow and ice prior to driving.
This can cause damage to other vehicles, and cause collisions as other drivers try to avoid being struck by falling ice or snow.
