11:00am- Jon Hamilton, Canada Post Spokesman, Re: Canada Post has announced it’s phasing out home mail delivery, and will be raising rates at it scrambles to find its footing in the Internet age. Faced with massive declines in letter-mail and an underfunded pension plan, the money-losing federal Crown corporation announced the drastic measures yesterday designed to get back to profitability and ensure its survival.
