11:00am- Gareth Neilson, Director of Communications with Fair Pensions For All, Re: A Hamilton police officer who had been suspended with pay has announced he’s retiring from the force. Not only will the charges against him be dropped, but the 53-year old will also get $92,000 a year in pension.
11:30am- Andrew Langille, Lawyer for the Canadian Intern Association, Re: Ontario student groups welcomed provincial government plans to reform labour laws to give unpaid interns the same workplace safety protections as paid employees.
