A heads up if you are taking to the roads this morning.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario.
It warns of dense fog in some areas and the potential for slippery roads as the temperature hovers around the freezing mark.
There is also the risk of freezing drizzle.
