Rangers losing streak hits seven

The Kitchener Rangers were blanked 7-0 by the Petes in Peterborough on Thursday night. It means Kitchener’s losing streak is now at seven games.
Matt Greenfield’s OHL debut did not go as planned. Nick Ritchie of the Petes scored 21 seconds into the first period, it was Peterborough’s first shot on net. Greenfield was yanked in the second after allowing four goals on 18 shots.
At the other end, Andrew D’Agostini made 28 saves for his second shutout of the season.
It’s the first time this season the Rangers have surrendered seven goals and third time they have been shutout.
