10:00am- Charles Sousa, Minister of Finance for Ontario, Re: Sousa gave the fall economic statement yesterday, saying the Liberal government is on track to eliminate an $11.7-billion deficit by 2017-18, but will keep spending if the economy weakens further.

10:30am- Bill Maxwell, secretary of the poppy remembrance committee at the Royal Canadian Legion, Re: Once again there’s a “white poppy” campaign making the rounds ahead of Remembrance Day. Some groups claim the red poppy glorifies war, while the white poppy is a symbol for peace.
