11:00am- John Sleeman, Chair of Beer Canada and Chair of Sleeman Breweries Limited, Re: According to a new study by the Conference Board of Canada every dollar a Canadian spends on beer generates $1.12 in economic spin-off. The report, “From Farm to Glass: The Value Of Beer In Canada” found 1 out of every 100 jobs is supported by the country’s beer industry.

11:30am- Brad Lavigne, Author, Re: Lavigne’s new book, “Building the Orange Wave”, is a true insider’s account of Jack Layton and the NDP’s rise to success.  He was not just the Campaign Manager of the New Democratic Party’s 2011 breakthrough election campaign that took Jack Layton from last place to Official Opposition – he was a key architect throughout the decade leading to Layton’s ultimate success.
