$250,000 in Damages after House Fire in Kitchener

Around $250,000 is being reported in damages after a house fire on 34 Bridlewreath St. in Kitchener.

Kitchener Fire tells 570 News that one woman was taken to hospital with burns to her hands and face.

The extent of her injuries is unknown.

The fire was caused by a pot of oil left on the stove.

The woman was the only one in the house and no other homes were affected.
