Man falls off roof in Waterloo

A 25-year-old man is in hospital after what Waterloo Regional Police describe as a workplace accident in Waterloo.

Police say the man was on the roof of a home on Redwood Place yesterday afternoon when he fell.

That’s in the area of University and Fischer Hallman.

Police say he was taken to Grand River Hospital and then airlifted to a Hamilton hospital.

His condition is not known.

Police say the Ministry of Labour has been contacted.
