Man turns himself in following Wednesday robbery

A Cambridge man faces a robbery charge in connection with a hold up earlier this week at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Fountain Street South.

Waterloo Regional Police say a 19-year-old man turned himself in yesterday and is awaiting a bail hearing.

Police say a man entered the gas station just after 3am Wednesday.

The suspect fled with some cash and no one was hurt.
