Fire Marshal Concludes Investigation Into Blaze In St. Jacobs

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has wrapped up their investigation into the devastating fire at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market.
However, the investigation will continue off-site as the Marshal’s office have taken specific items of interest from the site for further examination at their lab.
There is no timetable for a final report on the cause of the blaze that claimed the main building.
Owners of Mercedes Corp have indicated that both the outdoor portion of the market
as well as the Peddlers Village building are open for business tomorrow and will continue to operate regularly on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the year.
Mercedes Corp also say they are expecting more than 300 vendors to be open for business tomorrow.
