For the 18th straight season, the Kitchener Rangers have posted a profit.
At last night’s annual general meeting, the club announced a profit of just over $22,000.
That was down from over $550,000 the previous season, but that was because this time around, the team had to make payments to the city on its $9.6-million loan to renovate the Aud.
Something new heading into the upcoming season as the club announced fan will be able to drink alcohol in every seat and not just on the concourse and other designated areas.
To ensure that doesn’t cause any problems, the Rangers plan to beef up security.
