Cambridge Mayor Doug Craig is now allowed to have a voice in the rapid transit debate.
An Ontario Superior Court Judge has ruled Craig’s original conflict of interest in the debate, which he declared in 2011, was insignificant and remote and couldn’t reasonably be regarded as likely to influence.
For his part, the mayor says he’s thrilled to be back in the debate and is happy that he can now appropriately represent his community on future rapid transit discussions.
