Fire at the Mongolian Grill in Waterloo

There were no injuries after a fire at the Mongolian Grill in Waterloo yesterday.
Acting Waterloo Platoon Fire Chief, Rick Steinman tells 570 News they were called to the restaurant just before 7:30 p.m. when customers reported light smoke in the dining and kitchen area.
Three stations responded and discovered the sign had caught fire. Crews determined there was no extension into the building and the wall the sign was mounted on also suffered minimal damage.
Steinman says the cause has been determined as electrical and damages are pegged around 10,000 dollars.
