Hamilton Police confirm Tim Bosma was murdered, and that his remains were found in Waterloo Region. The 32 year-old married father of a young daughter never returned home last Monday after going on a test drive with two men in his black Dodge Ram pickup truck, which he had posted for sale online.
Detective Sgt. Matt Kavanaugh updated media at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. He says 27 year old Dellen Millard will be charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday.
Kavanaugh says two search warrants are currently being executed in Waterloo Region, and police have been seen searching a hangar at the airport owned by the Millard family, and at 2548 Roseville Road in North Dumfries.
Kavanaugh would not confirm at which site Bosma’s remains were found, but he says the remains were “burned beyond recognition.”
He also told reporters that they believe a second vehicle followed Bosma and the two men on the test drive last Monday night.
Kavanaugh says police are now looking for at least two other suspects — one of them is the man seen with Millard. Kavanaugh says he has not been identified yet.

Millard was initially charged with forcible confinement and theft over $5,000. His lawyer says Millard intends to fight those charges.
A convoy of police cars, unmarked vehicles, SUVs, and vans entered the property on Roseville Road Tuesday morning, and dozens of officers could be seen in the field.
There were also police scouring the area on horseback.
Police encourage the public to continue providing tips.
Forensic investigators are involved, and police say there continue to be rapid developments in the case.
Kavanaugh says with various police forces working together, there has been a total of 120 officers on the ground working this case on Tuesday alone.
