R-B-C is in hot water over allegations it hired temporary foreign workers to replace current Canadian employees. The bank says it did contract out certain technology services to an external company.

The Ontario Liberal government’s controversial new trades tax came into effect this week. Thousands of tradespeople across the province will be hit with millions in new annual fees. The new tax affects will make many consumer services more expensive including a haircut, new wiring and plumbing.
