Turns out the 2013 federal budget includes utting programs like crazy that cost a measly few million like the Experimental Lakes Area, mental health care for our veterans, search and rescue stations, women’s programs, education for first nations etc etc. all in the name of “austerity”.

Regional Council approved, at a committee meeting yesterday, a pair of $200,000 payments for the companies who lose out on the LRT project.
