The new report from CHCA says provincial and territorial governments spend just 4% of their healthcare budgets on home care. That’s virtually unchanged over a five-year period. Most provinces have emphasized the need to step up funding for care provided outside of hospitals. But not one has followed up on the verbal commitment with action.

The mayor’s of Ontario’s large urban areas are united on the need for new revenue to invest in roads and transit. The Large Urban Mayors’ Caucus of Ontario (LUMCO) says gridlock is costing Ontario jobs and is a key priority for all cities – large and small.
