Woman hit by car in Waterloo

A 22-year-old woman is in Hamilton General Hospital with life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Waterloo.
Police rushed to the intersection of King and Young Street around 2:30 Sunday morning.
The victim was struck while crossing King Street. She was taken to Grand River Hospital with serious, life threatening injuries before being later transferred to Hamilton for further treatment.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
