Waterloo bar hit with liquor licence suspension

A Waterloo bar has been slapped with an interim liquor licence suspension.

An inspector with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission also issued a notice of proposal to revoke a licence at The Firehall on University Avenue West on Saturday.

Police say a joint investigation was launched in September into alleged infractions.

WRPS laid several charges under the Liquor Licence Act which are currently before the courts.
