Dome at Max’s Golf Centre re-opens today

Just in time for the March Break rush, the dome at Max’s Golf Centre in Kitchener will re-open Wednesday morning.

The dome was blown down during a storm on February 8th and has been buried under heavy snow fall from storms that hit the region over the last few weeks, which made repairs difficult.

Sukjit Gill, the Manager of Max’s Golf Centre tells 570 News that his business really felt the loss.

“We lost our Family Day business and part of the March business and especially for the golfers, February, March and April is a very big season, they want to get their swing back in order. We lost a lot of revenue”.

Gill explains that the dome took some time to re-open due to snow removal also awaiting approval from the City on any of repairs made to the dome.

Gill says that a small celebration may be planed to mark the re-opening, but he says nothing has been confirmed.
