2:05pm “Cruise from Hell”
The cruise ship Carnival Triumph has been towed into the port of Mobile, Alabama, after spending days adrift in the Gulf of Mexico due to an engine room fire that knocked out power, left its sewerage system broken and created what passengers called hellish conditions.
Q: You’ve heard the negative news reports on the Triumph Cruise nightmare and you’ve heard the positives of cruises, what do you think? Would you take a cruise? Have you? What are your stories?
2:30pm Oscar Pistorius
Oscar Pistorius, aka Blade Runner, is a hero. Last year in London Olympics, he became the first man with carbon fibre prosthetic blades as legs to finish 8th in the 400-meter semi final. He ran in the 4×400 relay too. He carried South Africa’s flag in the closing ceremonies and then 2 weeks later carried into the Paralympics games. He charmed us with his stories and his attitude. Incredible story!
