Super Bowl 47 will be a family affair

It will be the brother of all Super Bowls.

Coach Jim Harbaugh’s San Francisco 49ers will take on coach John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens.

The 49ers are off to the big game looking to join Pittsburgh as the only franchises with six titles, after overcoming an early 17-nothing deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons 28-24.

Frank Gore ran for a pair of touchdowns in the second half, including the winner with 8:23 remaining for San Francisco’s first lead of the day.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick completed 16-of-21 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown.

Ray Lewis’s farewell tour will officially end in New Orleans.

Joe Flacco threw three touchdown passes in a 10-minute span of the second half to lead Baltimore to its first Super Bowl in 12 years with a 28-13 victory at New England.

The Ravens outscored the Patriots 21-nothing in the second half, and Lewis and company made Tom Brady look ordinary as they stymied the league’s top offence.

Lewis was the M-V-P of the 2001 game, which is the Ravens’ only Super Bowl win.
