More flu shot clinics announced

Waterloo Region Public Health has announced more flu shot clinics as it deals with increased flu activity.
It says, as of January 5th, it has 309 confirmed cases of influenza with 56 people forced to be hospitalized.
As well, influenza has now been listed as a contributing factor in at least 7 deaths: 6 elderly residents and one child.
The clinics, by appointment only, will be held, starting January 18th at the Waterloo and Cambridge Public Health clinic locations.
