Man hurt in Kitchener workplace accident

The Ministry of Labour is investigating a workplace accident in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police say a 19-year-old man was injured while working at a home construction worksite on Homer Watson yesterday.

Police say the man injured his stomach while working with a nail gun.

The injuries are described as minor although the man was taken to hospital to undergo surgery.
