Risk of freezing rain Friday

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning of rain and a risk of freezing rain on Friday for much of southern Ontario including Waterloo Region and Wellington County.
It says a low pressure system from Texas is expected to arrive tonight and into tomorrow. The system will bring mild and fairly moist air to the area.
Environment Canada says rain fall amounts of 10 to 20-mm are likely in most regions of southern Ontario tomorrow.
570 News Weather Specialist, John Wilson is forecasting between 10 and 15-mm of rain for our area and a high of 10. He says the risk of freezing here may come this evening.
