Research in Motion shares were up as high as 10-per cent in early morning trading on the TSX.
It follows a 12-per cent spike in pre-market trading.
The latest upswing was triggered by Goldman Sachs, which is the latest in a growing list of companies to upgrade its outlook for the BlackBerry maker.
It’s upgraded RIM to a “buy,” from “neutral.”
It’s also raised its price target to $16 from $9.
It goes as far as to predict, Research in Motion will be back in black in its next fiscal year.
