IceDogs shutout Rangers

The Niagara IceDogs blanked the Kitchener Rangers 2-0 last night in St. Catherines.

Chris Festarini made 32 saves for his second shutout of the season. John Gibson was also strong in the Kitchener net, stopping 25 shots.

New York Islanders prospect Ryan Strome scored his 10th of the season in what proved to be the game winner.

The Rangers host Windsor tonight. Don and Mike have the pre-game at 7pm on 570 News.

Kitchener will also entertain Owen Sound on Sunday night.
