Desire2Learn has made the list of “Canada’s Top 100 Employers for Young People.”
The Kitchener-based tech company, which has pioneered cloud-based learning solutions, was recognized as being a leader in attracting and retaining younger employees.
Specifically, it looked at Desire2Learn’s investments in ongoing skills development, including subsidies for tuition and professional accreditation.
It also offers a number of in-house and online training programs, as well as financial bonuses for completion of select courses.
Company President and CEO John Baker says “Learning is not only what we sell to the world, it is what we practice within our own offices.”
