Garrett Rank of Elmira came so very close to essentially securing an exemption to the 2013 Masters.
In yesterday’s 36-hole final of the US Mid-Amateur Championship in Illinois, Rank finished second to American Nathan Smith, by just one stroke.
Rank sent out the following Tweet…”Not the outcome I was looking for, but an unbelievable week and something I will be extremely proud of looking back in a few weeks time.”
