Hit and run at construction site

A site supervisor at a Kitchener road construction site escaped with minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
Waterloo Regional Police are treating it as a hit and run.
Police say the supervisor was monitoring for vehicles driving through the area of Trussler Road between Bleams and Huron – a stretch that is closed – when he stopped a silver car just before 6pm on Tuesday.
Police say as he talked with the driver, the car sped off striking him.
Police say the driver is in his early 20’s, with short dark hair and olive skin.
A female was in the car as well.
