Guelph swimmer in semis

Guelph swimmer Andrew Ford has made the semi-finals in the 200-metre
individual medley.

He is the fourth Canadian to qualify for a swimming semi this morning.

Ford finished the second heat in first place with a time of 2:00.28, a personal best.

The 200-metre IM semi-finals are set to start shortly after 3:30pm Eastern Time.

Stratford’s Julia Wilkinson also reached the semis in the 100-metre freestyle which will start shortly after 2:30pm.

She was third in her heat with a time of just over 54 seconds.
