It’s not clear when Waterloo Regional Police will have more information on the discovery of human remains in a Kitchener park.
Police say they were found by a man walking his dog in Idlewood Park, late Saturday afternoon.
That’s in the south end of the city, off Thaler Avenue.
The remains have been sent to Hamilton for further examination.
Police say, as of right now, public safety is not believed to be an issue.
