Another candidate for the pending provincial byelection in Kitchener-Waterloo will be in place after tonight.

Local New Democrats are holding their nomination meeting.

As it stands, there is only one person in the running: local school board chair and trustee Catherine Fife.

Among those planning to attend tonight’s meeting at Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo is party leader Andrea Horwath.

The PCs and the Green Party have already selected their candidates while the Liberals will do so next month.
