12 people arrested and charged in drug investigation

Waterloo Regional Police have released the names of 12 people arrested and now charged as part of a lengthy drug investigation.
Regional Police, working with Guelph Police Services searched a number of homes in Kitchener yesterday morning on Forest Creek Drive, Apple Ridge Drive, West Avenue, Otterbein Road, Fairbank Place, McGee Avenue, Howe Drive, Courtland Avenue, and King Street East.
Warrants were also executed at a business on Borden Avenue South and a home on Weather Vane Lane in Brampton.
The investigation began 6 months ago and was focusing on drug activity within Waterloo Region, specifically looking at the trafficking of cocaine.
Today, four people made a court appearance in Kitchener.
DENNIS ROBINSON, 35, OF KITCHENER – POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, CONSPIRACY TO TRAFFIC, AND TRAFFICKING X 7
GLENFORD BROWN, 52, OF KITCHENER – POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, CONSPIRACY TO TRAFFIC, AND TRAFFICKING X 7
VEROL WILLIAMS, 47, OF KITCHENER – POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, CONSPIRACY TO TRAFFIC X2
DEBIAN BROWN, 39, OF KITCHENER; POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING.
Eight others were released on a promise to appear in court. Their court date is set for August 13th.
