Some of the world’s best female golfers are starting to arrive for the first-ever Manulife LPGA Classic.
Round one starts at 7am on Thursday at Waterloo’s Grey Silo Golf Course.
“It will play a lot harder and faster…that’s how the tour (LPGA) and the players like it.”
said Tournament Director, Richard Kuypers.
Basically, the holes at Grey Silo move up by one, so the 17th becomes the 18th.
The 16th to 18th may be among the best places to watch…”I think that triangle of holes is going to be heavily populated with people. ” added Kuypers.
As for etiquette, Kuypers says the main thing is to be quiet when someone close by is playing golf, come dressed for the weather and have fun.
For those heading to watch, parking is located next to the Manulife Sportsplex at RIM Park. You will be shuttled to the course from there.
