PC Nomination Deadline For By-Election

While Premier Daulton McGuinty has yet to call a by-election in Kitchener-Waterloo, the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario is taking steps to get ready.

The deadline to declare intention to seek nomination to run for the seat left by Elizabeth Witmer is 5pm Tuesday.

There are currently 2 confirmed nominees; Don Kaluzny and Tracey Weiler.

A candidate will be chosen from those nominees on June 20 at St. George Banquet Hall Conference and Events Centre in Waterloo.
